...And no it isn't the 7 hairs that reside on it!lol...Something me and a couple buddies of mine were talkin about just over the weekend. I just want to know, what the hell is wrong with these badd a$$ kids today? Someone please fill me in...I mean I know we're pretty deep into the "crack baby" era, but good lord...And it's not just certain ones..It's all of them black, white, latino, asian, East Indian, hell Im sure eskimo kids talk back and damn near curse out their parents to! It's just freakin ridonkulous...Yes I did just say "ridonkulous" lol.
Let me first start by saying that I don't have any kids "yet" and when I see people out and about with their own children..well lets just say that the decision to have them is still up in the air!lol...Besides I'm not sure if the world is ready for another lil Partee running around yet..because I know I'm not! But if and when I do have a lil Partee I can tell ya one thing...They sure as hell won't be running around actin a fool as if they were auditiong for a role in 'Animal House'...I'll tell ya that for sure. I mean I just shake my head and chuckle when I'm in the grocery store and I see this little 4 year old running from their momma and when they finally catch 'em and tell the kid to simmer down...the lil one replys with "NO" or "whatever" or something of that nature. And what really shocks me is when they dont get a back hand across the mouth, or have their little booty's whooped. Now I'm not saying that you should beat your kids senseless (although some of them really do need that) nor am I condoning that type of behavior. But ya gotta do something and I believe it should start at an early age. I mean somebody has to lay down the law of the land at some point right? And if ya wait too long your little 5 year old will be telling you what to do and when your bed time is before you know it. It's just the way that I was raised...a child should stay in a child's place..simple as that!
My buddy was on a flight to Vegas just this past weekend and seated next to him is an elderly woman, probably in her 70's. Then seated in the row behind them are two young boys who couldn't have been any older 7 or 8, who just wouldn't stop kicking the back of the older woman's chair. So this goes on for a few minutes until the woman finally reaches back and smacks the leg of one of the boys...and then sensing that the old lady meant business they quickly finished up there soccer match that they were having against the back of her seat. More to the point though...by the age of 8 you should know how act in public and that there's a time and a place for everything. Now I know that children especially boys at that age will tend to get a little carried away or out of control when left unsupervised for any lengthy period of time. But eventually the little if any home training you have has got to kick in and tell you that you need to sit back and be cool. That's all I'm saying...somewhere along the line these lessons just aren't getting through to these children today.
So now I would like to hear from you...maybe you agree maybe you disagree with my position on the matter. You let me know and please don't hold back on the subject..If i've offended you then let me know. If you think I'm being too hard on these little hoodlums, tell me about it...Okay maybe hoodlums is a bit harsh but you get where I'm going with this. Til next week keep reading and keep reaching for the stars!

The $45 Million Man...
Wow! Really...$45 million? It's hard to really even imagine the signifigance of such an amount. Not so much anymore for one "Superstar" Ryan Seacrest, who has signed a deal to stay on as the host of American Idol for another three years and a guaranteed $15 million per. Now personally i don't have any problem with them wanting lock up there man so to speak and pay him what they think he is worth. But with the downfall in today's economy...I must ask the question...Is such a deal a smart one for either side to agree upon? In Today's society we're already sceptical of star athlete's and entertainers who flaunt and show off their riches on a weekly and sometimes daily basis. I just can't help but think that with the economy in shambles the way it is, that your average Joe (pardon the cle'che) is gonna look at this deal and say "gimme an F***in break." It's almost a slap in the face to the everday working man who wouldn't make that type of money in 16 life times let alone $15 million in one year.
But far be it of me to "Hate" or rain on one's parade. No, I am congratulating Mr. Seacrest because he is a very talented, bright and ambitious young man. I mean lets be honest, this is why you get into "show biz" right? Or at least that should be the goal...To make as much money as quick and as fast as you can and just say "Screw everybody else"...right? To the two of you out there who read this blog...lol...I ask you this, "Would you do it?"...Roles reversed and anyone of us had a tenth of the "talent" that Ryan Seacrest has and were able to recieve even 1% of the $45 million he'll recieve...We would drop whatever we were doing in a heartbeat and be on the first thing smokin out to Cali! Lucky for me I'm already in California so I would be in SoCal in NO time at all! I mean sure it might bum some people out to hear about this story...but as always we just gotta get over it and keep on reaching for our own $45 million brass ring in the sky!

Remembering the memories....
And there are enough to last us two maybe even three lifetimes and then some...Aren't there? For today the world said goodbye to an ICON, no I'm not speaking of my employer (IKON)...I speak of the man who is probably one of the greatest entertainers of all time and most definately in modern pop culture history. Without a doubt the best of my generation, although some older generations might make a case for one ELVIS or THE BEATLES who were both great in their own right and most certainly had and still have there own followings to this day. But that's not why im here...atleast not on this posting. I'm not here to compare or to "judge" any of these entertainers, im here to pay a small tribute so to speak to the man who is known as....The King of Pop!
From hits like Thriller to Beat It to Billie Jean and all the way back to the early years of ABC, Never Can Say Goodbye and I'll Be There with his brothers as a part of The Jackson 5, Michael Jackson has been a been a household name in the states and around the world for over 40 years. Imagine Michael going to a job interview...his resume would be 10 pages long! Even if he didn't have any real people or social skills related to any job outside of the entertainment world, who would care...the man quite frankly was a freakin GENIUS! Anyone who had even minimal use of their legs was trying to "MoonWalk" back in 1983 when Micheal busted it while performing "Billie Jean" at the 'Motown 25' television special in March of that year. Even though he wasn't the creator of the dance move it quickly caught on and became synonymous with Jackson and was seen as his trademark move. But Michael was no '1 trick pony' he had an arsenal of moves that are probably more so if not equally as responsible for his ascention to the top of the entertainment ladder. So you see he was much more than just a pop singer. Michael Jackson was the total package as far as performers go. Had nice vocals, could move around on stage and get the crowd involved with one fierce kick of his shoe or flick of a wrist. He touched millions around the world, and continues to do so today with all of the hours of video footage and recorded songs he leaves behind in a legacy that couldn't be written up in a HollyWood script.
Although his career and life were not without it's contreversay, I would rather remember all the good he did and how he made us get up and dance and put a smile on our faces for so many years. So I'm gonna go throw on Billie Jean and go MoonWalk across my kitchen while making a PB&J, and just wyld out to the jams of the 'Greatest of All Time'. Thank you for the memories Michael......
